A-1 PROUDLY SUPPORTS THE 4TH ANNUAL ST. LUCIE HABITAT FOR HUMANITY PLAYHOUSE BUILD
FORT PIERCE, FLA., – May 9, 2024 – A-1 Global Holdings, Inc., a leading manufacturer of pre-engineered building components, is proud to have participated in the 4th Annual St. Lucie Habitat for Humanity Playhouse Build. This event, held on April 27, 2024, at Treasure Coast Lexus, brought together community members to build custom playhouses for local first responders and veterans.
The event showcased the unity and strength of our community, with A-1 and TechWood (a product of Chem-Tech) partnering to supply high-quality and eco-friendly-treated lumber and plywood, vital for constructing imaginative playhouses that delighted children and their families. “Supporting our community through initiatives like the Habitat Playhouse Build allows us to connect more deeply with our neighbors and reinforce our commitment to positive community engagement,” said Jan S. Beck, President of A-1. “Seeing the children’s faces light up as they explored their new playhouses was a highlight of the day,” shared Paige Peele, a volunteer from A-1.
The event successfully brought together over 80 volunteers, including team members from A-1 and its affiliate Whole House Engineering. The playhouses were presented to families chosen from local law enforcement and fire departments, as well as the U.S. Army, showcasing the community’s gratitude and respect for their service. The designs were customized, ranging from sensory-inspired to space-themed, ensuring that they spark imagination and joy for the children.
