A-1 CELEBRATES ROLE AS PRESENTING SPONSOR IN TREASURE COAST FOOD BANK’S SUCCESSFUL “PACK THE HOUSE” EVENT
FORT PIERCE, Fla., October 20, 2023 – In a significant community collaboration, employee-owned A-1, alongside Walmart Supply Chain Fort Pierce, were delighted to be presenting sponsors for the Treasure Coast Food Bank’s 9th annual “Pack the House” event. The goal of building 15,000 Holiday Meal Boxes was successfully reached, a monumental effort made possible by volunteers who dedicated their time and energy.
This initiative, which aligns with A-1’s values of community and empowerment, brought together 760 volunteers, including A-1 team members, to address food insecurity during the holiday season. “Our involvement in the ‘Pack the House’ event reflects our dedication to the community that has supported us for over 46 years,” says Michael Ruede, President of A-1 Industries of Florida, Inc. and A-1 Industries of Georgia, LLC. “We are proud to stand with the Treasure Coast Food Bank and our fellow sponsors in this vital cause.”
This year’s event marks another chapter in A-1’s ongoing efforts to contribute positively to the community. “Seeing our community come together to support our neighbors during the holiday season is truly heartwarming,” added Ruede. “It underscores the impact we can have when we unite for a great cause.”
