A-1 MARKS 46 YEARS OF VISIONARY LEADERSHIP AND EMPLOYEE EMPOWERMENT
FORT PIERCE, Fla., September 18, 2023 – Employee-owned A-1 Global Holdings, Inc. (“A-1”), the premier provider of structural building components in the Southeastern United States, proudly celebrates its 46th anniversary. This milestone follows a transformative year that included the introduction of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP”), a Silver Telly Award, and a facility expansion. “Today, as we celebrate 46 years of innovation and excellence, we’re reminded of our long-term vision to be a 100-year Company,” says John Herring, Founder and CEO. “Our commitment to using technology and focusing on our people has been the cornerstone of our success.”
A Year of Milestones
A-1 introduced its ESOP, allowing employees to acquire shares of stock in A-1 at no cost. “The A-1 ESOP represents the perfect alignment of Company goals, values, and rewards,” said Jan S. Beck, President of A-1 Global Holdings. “It makes clear that our people are front and center, and that’s exactly how we want it.” A-1 set industry standards and released “The A-1 Difference,” a video that won a coveted Silver Telly Award this year. Mr. Beck said, “This award showcases our team’s dedication and aligns with our long-term vision.”
“As we mark another year of growth and achievement, we’re excited about the future,” says Michael Ruede, President of A-1 Industries of Florida, Inc. and A-1 Industries of Georgia, LLC. “We have several groundbreaking initiatives and products in the pipeline that will continue to redefine the industry and benefit our customers.” A-1 recently expanded its Florida facility by 48,000 square feet, consistent with its rapid growth plans.
